  • You don’t want to break the bank. Custom websites can be very expensive. Smoothies are semi-custom, so we can build something unique to you at a price you can afford.
  • You’ve never used WordPress before, but you’ve heard why it’s way better than old-school websites. You’re excited to be able to keep the content on your site up to date without having to learn all that techie stuff.
  • Or maybe you have a WordPress site already, but it isn’t “you”. Maybe it even looks like many other sites using the same theme.
  • You have a pretty good idea what pages or sections you need in your website. There’s probably less than 6 main pages and one  or two sections for a blog or news, or product catalogue. (To be clear, your Smoothie can have many, many pages. But if you do have tons, and don’t have them organized well into a smaller set of “top-level” links, then you might need extra help or a custom design.)
  • Everyone says you should start a blog, but you’re not so sure. Or you could be sure. It’s OK. Every Smoothie is blogging-ready when you are. It’s like having a secret super power you can unleash on the world when the time is right.

How can you tell if a Smoothie isn’t what you need right now?

You might need extra custom work in addition to your Smoothie, or maybe even a site that’s fully custom-from-the-ground-up. Or maybe you need to do a bit more homework before you’re ready to work with us. Tell us about your needs and we’ll help you figure that out. See if these sound like you:

  • You have some really big ideas for your site which are beyond your typical small website. Maybe you need a much more involved design than would fit in with the layout of a Smoothie. Or user forums/user generated content (beyond comments on your blog), or a robust shopping cart system.
  • You don’t know what you need at all. Maybe you’re really starting from ground zero: no logo, no idea what content you want to offer, not sure what you need your website to do for you.
