When you order your smoothie, you could be working with one or both of our team. (And you’re welcome to tell us your preference on that!) Tzaddi will always do the geeky part, and design may be done by either Dave or Tzaddi. You’ll work one-on-one with your designer throughout your project.

Sparky Firepants (a.k.a. David Billings)

Dave helps small business people who have great content but need help saying it visually. With his odd, yet effective brand of drawings and animation he translates written content into pictures. It’s kind of like Pictionary on caffeine and pixie sticks.

With over ten years’ experience creating digital images for commercial sign making, TV, and the web, Dave combines computer geekery and visual art for people who don’t want to know the gory details.

I’m a web designer specializing in hand-crafted custom WordPress sites. Five years building sites with WordPress means that I know its capabilities inside & out. I’ve been known to build sites you would think are impossible with WordPress. Frankly though, my custom sites take a lot of time and planning.

I created Smoothies because many small business owners need something in between a custom site and an ill-suited off-the-shelf template. By making Smoothies a team effort I’m able to help more people get the websites they need. I also get to have fun with Sparky FirePants in the process. Whee!
